📦 Parcel Theft Prevention - Stay Vigilant This Season

As we enter a busy period for online shopping and home deliveries, residents are reminded to remain vigilant and take steps to prevent parcel theft.

With more packages being delivered to homes, opportunistic thieves may target parcels left unattended on doorsteps or in communal areas. A few simple precautions can help keep your deliveries safe:

✅ Track your parcels and be aware of delivery times.
✅ Use a safe place or delivery locker where available.
✅ Ask a trusted neighbour, friend, or family member to accept deliveries if you are not at home.
✅ Install a video doorbell or CCTV if possible, to help deter offenders.
✅ Avoid parcels being left in plain sight and arrange redelivery if necessary.
✅ Report any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood to the police.

Remember, thieves often look for easy opportunities. By taking a few extra precautions, you can help protect your purchases and reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.

If you see suspicious individuals checking doorsteps, following delivery vehicles, or handling parcels that do not belong to them, please report it immediately.

Stay alert, stay secure, and help keep our community safe. 🚔📦
